GENERAL INFORMATION FOR JOINING OUR STREET DANCE CLASSES

Here is the information you need to know following up your enquiry for your child to join our friendly Street Dance classes. 

💥This class is a favorite among many of our students. Everyone loves the opportunity to explore the new dance moves taught in this class, while also mastering the classic moves.
💸Each lesson is 45 minutes and is £5 a session- First lesson FREE!
🕒Every class is (please acknowledge from your message, which class is most suited for your child )

4:15-4:45- STREET PRIVATE LESSONS 

4:45-5:30pm - RED GROUP &  YELLOW GROUP

5:30-6:15PM- BLUE & GREEN GROUP 

6:15-6:45- STREET PRIVATE LESSONS
6:45-7:30-  PURPLE GROUP
on a Thursday . Arrive around 5 minutes before class starts 
🔔The venue is the The royal British Legion RM8 3JP
🚪 Drop off through the left side of the building and pick up is to the right side of the building .Feel free to stay and wait for your child inside, but please be ready to pick your child up down the right side of the building when they finish. There is a bar for refreshments, of course go home and come back if you wish. Only drinks and snacks that are bought at the bar are to be consumed and any young children with you will need to be kept sitting down- not running around the venue. If this does happen, we will be contacted.

PAYMENT

💸Either by cash or bank transfer, Lesson fees are to be paid at the beginning of each lesson and if your child is absent 1 lesson, that payment is to be paid on the return the week after. So pay if you attend or not**This rule applies to lots of clubs, not just us, like swimming, brownies, scouts, gyms, other dance schools etc. Monthly payments are preferred but paying weekly is acceptable. We however do have a list of reasons of being excused to pay for example: attending a funeral, broken a bone, hospitalised, chicken pox, school trips (education), dance productions. Over all it is the principals discretion. 
🙏We ask that attendance is regular though and that you encourage your child to do well within class.The first lesson is free to see if they like it!

WHAT TO WEAR/ BRING? 
👚Bring your child in something they can move in like leggings, trousers, T-shirt. Not jeans please. Trainers for footwear. 
💧Bring a Water bottle. 
👱🏽‍♀️Hair can be any style. 
💍Jewellery and valuables are brought and worn at owners risk. We take no responsibility for anything going missing or being broken. 
🦠No chewing gum for safety reasons.

🙂If your child enjoys their first FREE lesson with us and would like to carry on classes, after 4 weeks, uniform is needed and is bought from us. If you wish to get it before this is fine. All street uniform is personalised to your child with their name or initials on it. 

WHAT CAN MY CHILD BE INVOLVED IN? 
👯‍♀️They will be involved with shows, events, competitions and parents demonstrations.
Competitions and events are optional to perform at but our annual show is the only event we say they must attend. 

👯‍♂️Our annual show is performed at the Broadway Theatre Barking. We have 2 shows across 2 days. The whole of our school performs so friends and family can see a display of all classes and the talent that we have within our school.

WHAT OTHER CLASSES COULD MY CHILD ATTEND WITH YOU? 
🙆🏽‍♀️We have Boys and girls classes which cover the dance subjects of ballet, modern, tap and acrobatics, singing.🙆🏽‍♂️

🤸🏼‍♀️Tuesdays from age 4, boys and girls, which covers just acrobatics within one class. 4:30-5:30- £6 a class.🤸🏾

✅Your child will be safe with us. We have been open for 40+ years now and all our teachers  hold qualifications and experience to teach dance  and are DBS checked 
A first aider is always on site.✅

✏️An enrolment/ agreement form will be given to you at the end of their first class confirming further all Information. 

💊Last of all, it is important that you tell us if your child has any medical or learning disabilities we should know about. A free trial class is in place for everyone who joins our school to see if they can listen and try to attempt everything asked of them.
